Founded in 2012, The Institute for Sustainable Economic Educational and Environmental Design (ISEEED) is a human-centered and participatory technology nonprofit that helps cities and communities, hospitals and health care providers, enhance their use of community-generated data, location-based data, data visualization, and Big Data to improve services, inform local decision-making, and better engage local residents. Their mission is to bridge the gap between clinical, social, and structural determinants of health so that hospitals, healthcare providers, and neighborhoods are connected communities filled with hope, healing, and health wisdom. Their digital platforms, including Streetwyze, support linking patients, providers, and community members – individually and at scale.
Why we invest:
We provided an unrestricted grant to I-SEEED / Streetwyze to promote their unique and powerful technology and approach in the reproductive and maternal health space.
