The Center for High Impact Philanthropy (CHIP) is a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice and alumni of The Wharton School. CHIP is dedicated to ensuring that donors and funders are able to achieve the greatest impact.

Why we invest:

Gender Lens Investing in public equities has become more popular among philanthropic investors in recent years, but the field lacks clarity around the impact of investment dollars on improving the lives of women and girls. We commissioned CHIP to research the outcomes of Gender Lens Investing on women and girls. Our grant to CHIP has furthered the understanding of impact and supported the development of a framework for investing in public equities to maximize impact on women and girls.
