Birthright: A War Story is a feature-length documentary that examines how women are jailed, physically violated and risking death as a radical movement tightens its grip across America. The documentary explores the accelerating gains of the crusade to control women and the resulting public health crisis, which is turning pregnant women into criminals and challenging the constitutional protections of every woman in America.
Why we invest:
We believe that film is a powerful tool for advocacy and educating the public about injustices. We structured a royalty deal with Women’s Doc, LLC, to produce Birthright: A War Story. Through a fiscal sponsor, we made a grant to support social outreach for the film. We are actively working with the filmmakers and partners, to inform and engage women and men throughout the United States about this public health crisis.
